I've been slacking on the updates, I know.
Here goes it:
After opening the home stand last week with a loss, the good guys turned it around and had a great week even with make shift line-ups due to illness and injuries among some everyday guys .
They followed the loss with a win to split with the Brewers and then sent the division leading St.Louis Cardinals back to Missouri with the assurance that these Reds are for real, swiping two of three games from the Red Birds.
It could have been a sweep. After the Reds won the first two games of the series the Cardinals earned themselves a W on Sunday, escaping in extra innings 8-7. As Reds manager Dusty Baker said, " The got away with one and they know it."
Now it's time to head out west. Three games in Arizona against the Diamondbacks then another trio against the Padres in San Diego.
Here's to hoping we win at least three of six, because it's never easy to win out west.
Tonight's Game:
Reds at Diamondbacks. 9:40 EST. Chase Field.
Probable Pitchers:
Bronson Arroyo (4-2) v.s. Jon Garland (3-1)

good update, man. Question? What's the Reds record and position in the division? And from what I've heard Arroyo should win this road game.
Very good quote from Dusty.
